The AVO 2.0 alignment device is used for the axial and concentric alignment (position adjustment) of two interacting machine components.

Alignment of tool changer with gripper arm to chain or disc magazine

Alignment of chain or disc magazine to the tool spindle

Alignment of transfer unit or swivel unit on the chain or disc magazine

Determination of the angular position (position of the groove in the spindle to the position of the groove in the gripper groove)

The alignment is done via a “sensing traversing”.
