The gears are backlash-free and self-locking when in the rest.<br \/>\nPAKU indexing gears are available in four sizes with station numbers between 1 and 8. Various combinations of indexing\/detent angles enable appropriate indexing\/detent time ratios for continuous operation. However, the most common application is intermittent operation with constant indexing and variable detent times. PAKU indexing gears are supplied lubricated for life and therefore require minimal maintenance.
